On the Market: 5205 St. Albans Way

I guess after staying at home for three months, everyone's sick of their house and a lot of places are now on the market. But my real estate friends tell me that things are moving quickly!
Here is what the listing says:

"Remarkable Palmer & Lamdin Architectural beauty with five bedrooms, four full and two half baths, thoughtfully updated with a two car garage.
Gorgeous hardwood floors, french doors, and fine millwork grace the interior of this traditional home. The spacious and updated Chef's kitchen features a gas cooktop, high end appliances, island and is open to a breakfast area.
Perfect for entertaining dining room with built-in China cabinets and french doors to patio. Cozy family room and a sun filled living room with gas fireplace.
The upper levels include a wonderful master suite and four more bedrooms and updated bathrooms.
A wonderful finished lower level completes this beautiful home!"

This house was built in 1930, and seems to be a bit of the formula that they were using for the houses in Homeland at that time, as there are several similar ones. It doesn't have the flourishes that many others do.

Update 5/21: The house is back on the market and the listing is here

  1. Hello, I came across your site today, we own the same plan as 5205 st. albans at 105 midhurst in pinehurst. We have owned the home since 2012 did not realize it was a palmer and lamdin home until today. We did make a few changes to the home when we bought it in 2012 to update it from the prior owners attempts at renovating the kitchen and opening it up to front room. Our home is stucco under the siding that a previous owner slapped on, hopefully some day we will be able to remove the siding. Great site!
